Don't try to remove your fats with surgery

by smkwan2007

Obesity is of course not healthy. But if you think you need to lose weight, the best choice is to remove the extra fats by means of physical exercises. And unless it is extremely necassary, never try to slim yourself by surgeries.

People who had undergone weight lost surgeries are susceptible to problems such as memory loss, movement coordination difficulties, or weakness. These are the obvious signs of a syndrome named Wernicke encephalopathy.

Doctors reveal that such problems usually arise within 3 months after a patient underwent bariatric surgery. According their explanation, one of the side effects of such surgeries is causing the patient to throw up frequently. This in turn causes the patient to lose a large amount of vitamin B1.

Vitamin B1 is an important substance which helps fuel our body to convert blood sugar into energy. It keeps our mucous membranes healthy and is essential for nervous system, cardiovascular and muscular function. People who lack the vitamin tend to experience vision impairment, rapid eye movements, deafness, muscle weakness, seizures, pain in the feet or hands, and even psychosis.

In some cases, it takes a very long time for a patient to restore his or her health completely.
