4. Stop smoking and consumption of alcohol as they can delay the healing process.

5. Goat milk is also very effective in treating peptic ulcer. Consumption of goat milk helps in healing peptic ulcer. Just take some fresh raw goat milk and consume it three times a day. This will sure help you with your peptic ulcer problem.

6. Avoid taking pain killers or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen and aspirin as they can make your condition worse in a long run.

7. Raw vegetable juice such as carrot juice is very helpful in treating peptic ulcer. You can also consume it by mixing it with beet, spinach or cucumber juice. All you need to do is take carrot juice (300 ml) and mix it with beet and cucumber juice (100 ml each). Now drink this mixture, it will sure help you with your ailment.

8. Cayenne pepper is also equally effective in treating peptic ulcer. Take a glass filled with water and add one eighth teaspoon of cayenne pepper in it. Drink this mixture two times in day for better results.

9. Chamomile is known for its anti-spasmotic properties. It helps in relaxing stomach ulcers and is a very good home remedy for treating peptic ulcer. But those who are taking blood thinning medicines should avoid this home remedy.

10. Wood apple leaves can also prove to be very beneficial in treating peptic ulcer. Just take 250 ml of water and soak 15 grams of wood apple leaves in it. Leave it for the whole night and next morning strain the water and drink it. Follow this routine for the next few weeks and you will see that it will relieve you from discomfort and pain caused by peptic ulcer.
