How Far Can A T Shirt Get You?

The humble t-shirt; you may think of it merely as an undergarment that has become a bit too big for its boots. We wear them all day under our clothes, over our clothes or maybe on their own. They can be a uniform, a fashion statement or even just a comfort blanket for a child. But how far can they get you? <br/><br/> Pretty far…here's why: <br/><br/> A Date <br/><br/> If you are a bloke and want to attract a female, often all you need to do is wear a particular t-shirt. Women pay a lot more attention to clothes than men do, with some women even rating clothes as the most attractive thing about a man. So if you choose a particularly cool t-shirt, it could well be the clincher that bags you a date. <br/><br/> A Job <br/><br/> How many people do you know that wear a suit or at least a shirt and tie to work? Probably lots of people right? Well did you know that for certain jobs it can be a lot more effective if you wear casual clothing, like jeans and a t-shirt. For instance, many creative agencies will turn you away at the door if you turn up for an interview in a shirt and tie. While someone who turns up for the same interview in a particularly stylish or maybe humorous t-shirt could well get hired on the spot, just for being creative and honest. <br/><br/> Lots of New Friends <br/><br/> In order to get 20 – 30,000 new friends, all you need to do is to put on a certain type of t-shirt. These are not magic and can be picked up in most sport shops. But the moment you put it on, you can immediately count a stadiums worth of people as your new mates. What is this t-shirt? A football shirt of course! This however does depend on where you live, because if you pick the wrong colour of shirt you may find yourself getting beaten up again. <br/><br/> Beaten Up or In Jail <br/><br/> Sadly there is a dark side to funny t shirts choice. If you choose one that is especially offensive you may end up attracting negative attention. Say for instance you walked around with rude t-shirts that have a terrible statement about another race or religion; you may be confronted and beaten up. Or you may be picked up by police for disturbing the peace or some similar offence. Not the right kind of 'going far'. <br/><br/>
