Cala Homes Release More New Homes In Edinburgh Due To Demand
CALA Homes the Award-winning housebuilder has had such success at two of its Scottish new home developments in Edinburgh that it has already launched a new phase of properties on both of them, just four months after the initial release. Responding to the high demand for new-build homes in Edinburgh, homebuyers can now choose from even more homes at Longacre in Kirkliston and The Mooring in Ratho, to the west of the city near to Edinburgh Airport.
"Our Kirkliston and Ratho developments were highly anticipated pre-launch, with a staggering number of homes purchased as soon as they were made available. It's therefore no surprise that additional phases are required to cope with demand at each site," says Sarah Stanger, Sales and Marketing Director, at CALA Homes (East).
"There is clearly a requirement for good quality detached family homes in West Edinburgh and our success in the area is testament to that. The attention to detail at Longacre and The Mooring is impeccable, with high-quality fittings and finishes throughout is renowned throughout all CALA developments. We're looking forward to continued success for each development."
At Longacre, over half the properties were sold even before launch and just one property remains from the initial phase, available now with CALA Homes' 100% part exchange deal. Six new homes have been released, a mix of four- and five-bedroom detached homes with prices from £335,000. Historic Kirkliston has a heritage stretching back to the Knights Templar and provides an idyllic village setting for these family homes. It was the site of the earliest recorded Scottish parliament and retains a number of very old buildings including its 800-year-old church.
Six new four- and five-bedroom homes have also been released at The Mooring in Ratho, also priced from £335,000. Located on the bank of the Union Canal, it boasts a picturesque setting that will eventually have its own canal basin adding to the existing charms of the village. Walking or cycling the towpath and the paths of the surrounding area is a popular pastime with local people.
Close to the M8 and M9, it's a perfect spot for commuters looking to find a property with good transport links and a pleasant village setting. Ratho has a wide range of amenities locally, and at just eight miles from the city centre, is convenient for those in Edinburgh too. Livingston and the city are serviced by regular bus services. The indoor climbing centre in the village is the largest in Europe.
