What to Wear This Spring for Men: From Woven Belts to IWC Watches

We've been waiting for springtime for ages. And now it's finally here. With it comes a new set of fashion trends. So read on, my pretties, to discover how to look your best this season.

1. Woven Belts: Ruggedly authentic, a woven belt is the perfect way to finish off your weekend wear. And the best part is that you never have to worry about adding new holes when you pack on a few extra pounds.

2. Button Up: It's been on the rise for a while, but this spring is when you will finally begin to admire the button-up. Buttoning the top button of your collared shirt without a tie is a hot look - it's clean, proper and a tad edgy. If you have a long sleeve shirt, try rolling up your sleeves.

3. Suit and Tee: If you want to look really chic without trying, wear a tailored suit with a designer tee. The suit must be slim and the t-shirt must be simple. Solid colors are preferable and v-neck is okay, as long as it's not too deep.

4. Sports Coat: The slim fit jacket isn't hard to pull off. The key is not trying too hard to match it with anything. If you're wearing a dark coat, think light pants, and vice versa.

5. Tennis Shorts: Not only do they show off your quadriceps, but they're classic and much more stylish than the baggy cargo or the knee-breaching long shorts.

6. Leather Sandals: Casual and bohemian, the leather strap sandal is everywhere. Get a pair with moderate strappings; we don't want to look like gladiators. But remember, if you're going to wear these around all summer, you have to take care of your feet. Treat yourself to a pedicure - they're not just for women.

7. Wear Red: Don't go red head to toe, but add a splash of color where it will be noticed, maybe in your socks, as a windbreaker or a sweater, and if you're feeling gutsy, shorts or jeans. Don't be bashful, red looks good on everyone (and it's the color of passion).

8. Pattern Up: Usually it's not a good idea to wear more than one pattern at a time. But this summer, you can get away with breaking the rules, as long as you keep it fresh. Stack gingham, stripes, and seersucker. Experiment with layering different fabrics and watch who notices.

9. IWC Watches: A gray-faced watch is especially hot this season. Lots of different brands make them including, Rolex, Cartier, Piaget and IWC. They are versatile and can look great when you're relaxing or in the boardroom.
