XM Satellite Radio, commonly referred to as XM Radio, is one of the two satellite radio services, SDARS for short, functioning in the United States if America and Canada. As far back as in 2005, AirTranAirways started to put XM Radio on their aircraft. United Airlines followed suit by using XM Radio content the following year. Air Canada did the same in 2007, displaying that these partnerships were flourishing.
