If an employee's vehicle had mechanical malfunctions, if the employee became ill while driving or if the employee was hit by another vehicle while driving, the tracking system would know instantly. The proper relief for the driver would be dispatched, an alternate driver sent to deliver to the client and the vehicle appropriately cared for. This also keeps costs down while protecting and respecting the driver as well as making sure the client receives his delivery. In the end, it's about the people, not the vehicle tracking device.
