How Modern Technology Makes It Possible to Learn Spoken English Online

Almost all of these programs consisted of pre-recorded videos viewed at the student's leisure. These capabilities increase the likelihood the language will be fully mastered, and in an online setting no less.

Modern technology has made it more than possible to learn spoken English online. However, to be successful, a situation such as a program that uses Skype is ideal. This means that you lose some of the flexibility often associated with online learning. The classes are live, so they must be attended via the computer when scheduled. There is flexibility in location; however, the classes can be attended from anywhere there is high speed internet access. This makes it possible to attend classes from home, and to keep up attendance when traveling or even when ill. This capability makes this option even more ideal for learning because it makes it less likely classes will be missed. Regular attendance is vital to successfully learning spoken English online and we can thank modern technology for making that easier.
