Using Your Digital Camera to Scrapbook
The popularity of digital cameras is increasing rapidly. As a scrapbooker, I find it simpler to store and organize digital photos then tangible photos. This is how I organize them.
When you load your pictures onto your computer, create new folders. Organize them by date and occasion. I like to copy and paste what photos I want per layout. So when its time to scrapbook, I merely look at my different folders and decide which one I would like to work on. I then see how many photographs there are and pick a layout that would work for that amount of pictures. I consider which sizes I could print the photoyou cannot do that with normal film processing. I then print only the photos I want to work with at that time.
With digital photos, you can trim or change the color on your photos. Do you think black and white photos would look better than the colored photo? No problem, merely open your photo editing software and change the coloring. If the subject of your photo is not centered or a distracting image found it's way into your picture, use your photo editing program to crop or zoom in. Digital photos are the best way to go! They are so much easier to work with and take up only computer space!
