For listing the property on the MLS, one need to complete an MLS Data sheet, which is a questionnaire asking for details about the property. This data sheet provides the buyer with valuable information about the property, to see if the property is what they have been looking for. This information will go to the MLS as well as the other Public Listing websites.
Once a person locates a property of his/her choice on the MLS, they need to contact the Listing agent of the location where it’s situated and arrange for a possible showing and purchase. The MLS is the single most powerful marketing tool in selling real estate. In fact, statistics show that nearly four out of every five residential properties are sold as a direct result of the Multiple Listing Service.
