TiVo Ignited A Television Revolution

In 1999 TiVo ignited a television revolution. Consumers struggled for years trying to set the clocks on their VCRs and learn the secret rules to successfully taping their favorite shows. TiVo boxes can be ordered on the TiVo website, TiVo.com, as well as by phone and at popular electronic retailers such as Best Buy. Models differ in the ability to record multiple shows at once, storage capacity, and HD compatibility. <br><br> TiVo’s latest feature is TiVoToGo. It allows the user to transfer their favorite shows from their TiVo to their laptop or desktop. From their the shows can be dispersed to an MP3 player, such as an Apple iPod or to portable gaming device like PSP.
