Top Five Dating Venues

Where to go to encourage the love…

by Sam Qam

Love is hard to come by. There are literally millions of singles out there desperately seeking someone who matches their requirements and they will do anything to find them. This might involve going to a speed dating event, trying out one of the many dating websites out there or perhaps just trying to chat up every person that comes along who seems vaguely within their criteria for love.

Once they find a suitable date though, what is the best way to make sure it gets off to the best start? With a great date of course! Here are some of the best venues and locations that will 'bring the love'…

Paris

Yes this may seem like a bit extravagant but what better way to make a statement to someone who you really think might be the one. You may be best to wait until you have had a few normal dates first, but think of the romance and the delightful surprise of being whisked off to Paris: the city of love. Best check with them first though so you don't scare them off.

Horse Riding Place

As long as neither of you is allergic to horse hair, horse riding can be a very romantic way of getting to know each other early in a relationship. The mix of fun and hopefully beautiful setting can be perfect to encourage conversation and to make sure you both have a good time. Just make sure you don't have to muck out any stables or it may spoil the mood.

Pub

There is no better place than a really good bar. Not an 'old man' pub or a loud techno bar, but one which has quirky furniture, friendly staff, candles and good chilled out music. The intimate setting and the intoxicating alcohol should make sure you become engulfed in conversation from start to finish.

Nice Walk

As long as it is a nice sunny day, then a good walk round a lake or loch or perhaps to a local landmark can be ideal for sparking romance. The fact there is no one else around and you are outside and breathing fresh air should allow you to focus on each other and get into some deep conversations; really getting to know each other.

Festival

Any kind of music or arts festival is excellent for dates. The excitement of the event, the chance to walk about together and explore new and interesting sights and sounds is great for building memories together that will be a good foundation for new romance.
