El Salto Bass Duel/Yo-Zuri Shootout Part 3 - Fishing Lures - Fishing Tackle

by Martha Stellpflug

Yo-Zuri fishing lures and fishing tackle presents to you another grand fishing tale.

Within the group we enjoyed numerous years of bass fishing experience from both hemispheres though each contestant got their very own given understanding of precisely how to find the prize fish that we were all after.

For each of us that discovery varied. Some of us had practically never captured a bass more than 5lbs, some of us had never ensnared at least one more than 8 pounds and most of us had at no time captured that magic10 pounder! When we were through with our competition we all would certainly accomplish a completely new personal "best" for the biggest bass we have ever hooked in our fishing lives.

The food supplies the bass eat at is different from year to year, and section to location around the lake. Crayfish which usually roam underneath, and leeches, snakes, frogs, small minnows, gizzard or threadfin shad and larger Tilapia or Bluegills all help to make the larger fish bellyprofound plus their eyes bulge out of their head. And so the fishing lures we tied onto the end of our Yo-Zuri Powercarbon Leader would need to imitate the size and style, shade and swimming technique of such leading food sources.

As we took a slow ride around the islands close to the camp we saw some of the best cover and structure in every lake on earth. You will find countless destinations for the fish to hide, create, feed and also live carefree lives to a ripe old age that we can spend years fishing here and never fish the same destination again. We saw tell tale warnings of bass everywhere. Fish were cracking on the outside. There had been boils around smaller schools of baitfish and locals obtaining their days capture of Tilapia sported a little bass or two in their nets on occasion.

All through the days that we were on the water there were periods that the beauty and calmness overtook us and therefore our concentration slipped to admiration of the wilderness all over then . . . out of the blue . . . we were moved into reality the minute schools of 3 to 6 pound fish would emergetowards the surface area boiling in a feeding frenzy running after baitfish everywhere. We discovered immediately that if you don't "match the hatch" you would be left out and fail to see the action. They are generally some of the most finicky bass anyplace in any lake where they stay. This can be tough tobelieve because the population of bass in this lake is ridiculously packed. Any class of fish is depicted around the lake totally from tiny fingerlings to schools of marauding 3 pound fish, plus the multiple 6, 7, 8 & 9 pound fish that we were catching.
