Get Better Listings in Yahoo Search Engine!

I read in a search engine optimisation forum the other day about one of Yahoo's new site explorer features, the authenticate site feature. This guy on this search engine optimisation forum said that he authenticated his site and then his listings increased in Yahoo's search results, I didn't know weather or not this was going to work at the time, in fact I was slightly skeptical but I thought it must be worth ago.
