Bermuda Arts and Bermuda Fashion Festival
Festival of body painting event around the globe and is sponsored by PinkSand Entertainment is just as beautiful as the temporary works of art displayed on the runway during the event. Sunday 29th May Bermuda’s weather showcased clear blue skies and a gentle summer breeze. It was absolutely perfect for a cocktail party on the Elbow Beach Ocean Terrace. As a Bermuda Entertainment, PinkSandBermuda.com was pleased to attend a private cocktail event held by Bermuda Fashion
Festival in connection with Bermuda’s America’s Cup Team. Bermuda Arts and Bermuda Fashion Festival teased event goers with a first look at its 2016 runway looks. But these models weren’t modelling the latest in local fashion or clothes for that matter. They modeled bodypaint artwork by Rhona Emerson, Gina Thompson, and Hannah Emerson
Team members of Bermuda’s Red Bull America’s Cup Youth Team lent their bodies to the artists as canvas for the Cup-themed designs. As guests arrived they got a live glimpse at the masterpieces while artists put the finishing touches on them. Guests of the event were encouraged to join the fun and were treated to the chance of trying their hand at body painting.
