The Art Of Business Coaching & How It Helps Your Business Grow!
You've probably come across some sticking points in your business, you might have spent day after day working your guts out chasing up payments, shipments, overdue client requests etc.
In business, we often create our own sales, marketing, management nightmares which end up tying us to our business, rather than freeing us from it over time.
Ok I hear you thinking, how on earth do I take myself out of the picture in my business? Afterall it is my creation, my baby, that I've loved, built and cherished from scratch? Well firstly, you need to get hold of systemization models that will allow your people (or outsourced staff) to easily do what you do, without you having to worry about it any longer. All you'll need to do is have regular checkup meetings with your staff member or outsourced staff (and yes, you can hire outsourced staff overseas, in the Philippines for example for as little as $2 / hour and they're actually as good, if not better, than regular staff here in Newcastle or anywhere locally for 5 to 10 times as much).
Once you've created a new range of systems (and if you don't know what you're doing here, don't worry, this can be a learnt skill), you then have your new head staff, teach the skills they've learnt to any new employees / outsourced staff that you hire from then on, heck, you can even have your head staff member do the hiring, researching and interviewing of new members of your business for you.
Systems of course are only one aspect of business coaching that you need to have success. If you look at McDonalds, they can hire 14 and 15 year olds and have 16 year old managers because of their awesome systems and drop-dead simple processes and equipment, even a monkey could be trained to use them.
So my coaching rant about why business coaching in the Newcastle area or any area of the world for that matter is (because systemization in business is spannable across the globe) to do something today to get your systems and training in place NOW, even if it's just you in the business, treat it like you're the head staff member and get those systems in place.
The types of daily routine things you do and you possibly think "Oh, I'm the only one who can do that!" is nothing more than just writing it down, video taping it, audio recording it, doing whatever it is you need to do to make yourself "Clonable" and "Duplicatable" as they say, this is the key to success in growing your business.
The issue is, even if you never wish to grow your business, you need to make life easy in the event soemthing happens to you (the controller of your business), or you wish to have a holiday, this way you won't just have to "SHUT SHOP", you can implement some strategies and systems to keep it all running by someone else who can follow them... A casual staff member maybe, because one day you might just decide to grow your business further and you'll be already setup with the structure and foundations to do that.
