How to Cure Fibroids for Good

There is no simple answer to the question of how you cure fibroids. This applies particularly if the fibroids are relatively small. If they are not causing any major health problems, then surgery is not recommended for women who have only small uterine tumors.

Know The Growth Rate Of Your Myomas

It is important for your doctor to know the growth rate of your fibroids, therefore, even if he or she tells you that no surgery is needed at present, you should still visit your physician every few months for tests. Just because surgery is not required now does not mean problems will not develop in the future.

Watch Your Monthly Periods

Finally, it is not advisable to become pregnant if you have large uterine tumors, unless you undergo a myomectomy, where the tumors themselves are removed from the uterus. Avoiding pregnancy is essential because serious complications can arise during a pregnancy if you have fibroids. Taking birth control pills is advisable in this situation because the birth control pills will regulate your menstruation whilst at the same time greatly reducing your chances of falling pregnant.
