What is meant by a fraud? Wrongful or criminal deceiving others means fraud. We can see frauds in many fields, mostly like Medicare fraud, defense contracting fraud, GSA schedules and other type of contracting frauds. Let us see about different types of frauds. 1. Medicare Fraud: Do you know what Medicare fraud is? In United States, Medicare fraud means collection of reimbursement given by the government for medical treatment. There are also different kinds of Medicare fraud which have the same motto, which is illegitimate. Medicare problem is the major problem .Now-a-days Medicare is a health insurance program for persons paid from taxes. If we see American government pays Medicare for 65 years or much older people. So if the health suppliers or private hospitals bill the Medicare it can be considered as Medicare fraud. To be said in detailed, if a person that is not qualified for Medicare but uses the Medicare than it is considered as Medicare fraud .The government should prohibit this kind of Medicare fraud by sending people for inspection. An individual person, a group or accompany can also commit for Medicare fraud. We can take an example of an incident that a physician and five owners of health care agency were arrested for claiming Medicare fraud. 2. Defense Contracting Fraud: That means sale of goods to the US military low quality or increased price. So, this is called defense contracting fraud. Generally this act was enacted in 1863 It is considered that prohibiting fraud and eliminating the miss spending of defense dollars can be considered as the greatest form of savings. Every reason must follow the rule and must adapt for national security challenges. The main problem of this defense contracting fraud is manufactures started cheating off union army with their low quality products and sold it to us for more prices. In the same way they ripped the people by low quality fabric. Their scraps are shredded and pressed with an adhesive together for making of a sheet of fabric. 3. Contracting Fraud: The common most areas in which the government fraud occurs is about furnishing of the goods to government by contractor. We have trade agreement act (TAA), so through this act when the companies commit fraud by disrespecting, that requires the product that sold to the government must be produced in fair trading countries without any trash. Second fraud is considered when companies make misrepresentations to General services administration(GSA).Some other kind of frauds according to the false claim act is U.s postal service fraud, customs fraud, environmental fraud, student federal loan fraud, Government construction and procurement fraud and many others. So these are the different kinds of frauds one can come out as the whistle blower, if have evidence and never step back and be confident to arise all the fraud.
