Carthaginian II Scuba Diving
by
Jamie Mulch
The shipwreck rests in approximately ninety feet of water off the coast of Lahina and makes a great site for underwater photography. It is approximately a 10 to fifteen minute excursion from the harbor to the scuba diving site. The vessel was reefed roughly 7 years before and now supports a wide variety of marine life. As soon as you start to descend from the mooring ball you should normally be able to spot the outline of the shipwreck quite easily. The visibility at this dive site is frequently 80+ feet and much of the time over 100+ feet.
