5 Components Of A Blog

How do we construct a blog? Neophyte bloggers may have this question on mind. I remember putting up my first blog and wondering how to fill up all the empty spaces.

If you've read some blogs, you may have ideas of its usual content. But blogs have no comparison so expect them to be different from the others. If you aim to join the blogging industry, I then suggest these 5 basic elements:

1. Title- Placed a t the top portion of the article, the heading is the primary item that readers see in a blog. It often has a picture or a message describing the article's title. Since this is your article's front liner, you need to post something that gives meaning to your article. The heading gives certainty that the guest is on the exact website. It's a static element in a website which can also double as a link back to the blog's homepage.

2. Content- The main part of a blog page is where you see the blog post. It's the heart of any article. In fact, a blog may be able to survive (in rare occasions) with just that. All the stories that a blogger wants to impart goes into blog entries which are posted regularly. It's a frequent update of messages, pictures, videos and the no-no's. New blog posts are the things that readers look into. Since bloggers are known to provide up-to-date information, it's important to live up to that.

3. Navigation section- For visitors to gain access to the various pages of your blog, a routing link is required. Sidebar navigation is pretty common, but some bloggers get creative and put the navigation links elsewhere, like just below the header or at the bottom of the page. It's easier to get to the archived content or filter out categorized blog posts using navigational links.

4. My space- This is a section reserved for the author. A write-up about the history of the blog and its owner generally goes in the 'About Me' page. It doesn't have to be an autobiography; just a few sentences would suffice. Other bloggers present it using a question and answer style, while some still opt to use the conventional style which is essay writing. You can include your contact information on this page, so that followers and advertisers have the means to get in touch with you.

5. Remarks - A blog breathes more life if it is interactive. The common interaction field of a blogger and a reader happens in the remarks section of a blog site. Ideas are exchanged and developed through digital discourse. A blogger can also enjoy soaking up on pride as readers leave footprints of praises about his articles. Admired write-ups are shared among friends and followers.

We have different kinds of blogs that differ from one another, but there is one common denominator in them, these 5 basic elements.These parts of a blog help in keeping its contents organized. And a blog that's more pleasing to the viewer is surely bound to get more hits.
