How To Safely Use Colored Hair Extensions

It always feels good to look unique and mostly when among many individuals. Your hair is one thing that can actually make you outstanding just like your skin. For this reason many people who apply hair extensions will generally change their initial hair color as can mostly be seen with young women and middle aged adults.

What you should check for with your colored hair extensions

Before you bond that hair to yours, support that you are not allergic to the bonding that is to be used. For instance, the glue bond may cause you allergic reactions and you so will scratch your skin and experience irritability. You may even loose part of your hair, something that may not show up in anyone close to you if they applied the same techniques. In short, your skin may experience repulsive reactions with the glue bond so in such cases, turn to other bonding techniques such as clip or sewing system of boding.

Ensure you use the proper kind of weave or hair extension as one that is too light will coil up on your natural hair and possibly cause hair loss and bald patches. You also need not to make close contact with your scalp when attaching the hair. Close contacts will only lead to stretching of your scalp and hair roots and intense headaches as a result.

As you comb your hair, you should ensure you do not scratch your scalp as this could lead to bruising of the horny layer, leaving room for illness to set in. The consequence of it will be inflammation and other distressing experiences with the head skin onto which hair grows.

Usually the extended artificial hair will need regular dying if one is to sustain its first colour. If left unattained, the color will slowly fade away as the hair degenerates along with its feel. Unfortunately the wearer of this hair may not detect as the process is slow and eyes may be adopting to new changes without his/her knowledge.

But, even as you apply the dying chemicals to the colored extensions, be sure to check on what kind of dye you apply. Some could be permanent even to your natural hair, or even allergic to your skin. All these above factors should be considered when one thinks of using colored hair extensions.
