Property La Siesta*** This beautiful old farmhouse, set in two acres of land with garden, swimming pool and barbeque area, has been our family home for three years. We have removed our clutter but left the house comfortably and cosily furnished, including books, toys, videos, pool towels, 2 kids bikes. The pool (9mx5m) has a shallow end for little ones and there is a carob tree with swings, bars and rings to hang from. It is warm in winter and cool in summer (walls 1m thick). The barbeque area seats 14 and there is another terrace adjacent to the kitchen for breakfasting. Surrounded by the Tramuntana mountains, Pollensa Golf course only 5 minutes drive away. we also get a lovely sea breeze from the Bay of Alcudia. Brilliantly located 1km from golf course and 2.5km from beautiful old Pollensa town (don't miss the Sunday market), 10 minutes to beaches. Notes: In the winter, the house is very warm (centrally heated) and it's thick walls keep it cool in summer. All bedrooms, drawing room and outside terraces have overhead fans. All bedrooms have wooden shutters which should be shut in the morning to keep heat out, and then opened in the evening with the fan in motion to keep the rooms cool. We can arrange a rental car to be waiting for you at the airport and may provide a list of English speaking babysitters (who we have used and know the house).
