How to Write A Perfectly Optimized Article For SEO

by Lesley Knowles

So you want to write a perfectly optimized SEO article? Writing a well-optimized article for SEO requires relevant knowledge, skills, and techniques. There are some essential things you need to put into consideration. Even though how well your article is written, if search engines cannot find it because it was poorly optimized, you will just waste time and effort.

The following are the important elements of a perfectly optimized SEO article.

1. Write a clear and descriptive title.

The title is the first element search engines get, so this must not just be catchy but properly optimized. It should bear your keyword and it must be specific, accurate, and descriptive giving a clear idea on what your SEO article is all about. Keep in mind the search terms or words most readers type in when searching for articles revolving around the same topic as the one you are writing. Make sure you include those terms in your title.

2. Make sure your SEO article has good keyword saturation.

Keyword saturation is vital in an SEO article. Too much or too little keywords mean a poorly optimized article. Too little keywords will not get you on top of search engines; while too much keywords will make your article a spam. An ideal article with 300-500 words must have a keyword every after 100 words. You need to have your keyword on the first and last sentence of your SEO article and sprinkle the rest on your article's body.

3. Use keywords in the article strategically.

Aside from keyword density, you also need to know how to properly place your keywords. They should appear in your SEO article in a natural and smooth way. Do not jeopardize the grammar just so you can fit in your keywords. It takes art and strategic planning. For example, your keyword is "how to grow tomatoes successfully." Write something like this in your introduction: "Learning how to grow tomatoes successfully does not necessarily require you to have a green thumb."

4. Incorporate headings.

If you are writing a long SEO article, you need to have at least three headings commonly known as the H1, H2, and H3. As much as possible, have your keywords in your headings as well. This does not only help optimize your article, but it makes it easier to read.

5. Incorporate relevant and useful information.

Even if you have done all of the above if you are only talking nonsense, your article is good for nothing. The content of your SEO article needs to be of value to those who will read it. Do some quality research and add a little strong and reasonable opinion. Remember if people see your article to be worth-reading, your website will surely increase traffic.
