Dating evolved all through the years just as man has evolved from being simple creatures to the most complex beings. The Old Wives Rule

You may have heard your grandmas, aunts and old folks talking about "when it was their time", about love and dating 50 years above; they would say women were the shy and demure types, not aggressive and they would never wear such tight clothes. But that was their time, if you wear floor length skirts and buttoned up blouses up until the neck; or still be super demure and prim in this modern time, you'd be considered either going for the "mother superior" role, a "snob" or a "single forever" type of person. Well, that may not be the absolute truth, but how would you get to find the love of your life without adapting the present dating rules in your love life.

Into the New World of Womanhood

Everything changes, and even dating rules change too. When things change, you have to change in order to keep up. The rules have changed and became less restrictive now. The doors of change is always open, simply follow the path in which it's most comfortable for both you and your partner. Fifty years or more and so, years ago, women always have a well defined role in society. Women were housewives, end of story. They just stay at home and tend to the house and care for the kids while the hubby is still at work. Men were the leaders, women were the followers.

Here, in the present, women are also responsible when it comes to providing for their families, there are many moms who work and at the same time fend for their kids, their husbands, their homes and their careers. Men and women know what they need to do, and that's setting aside the traditional beliefs in order to make way for a better tomorrow.

Women are already empowered today. Women can speak for themselves, can take care and look out for themselves. But even so, with this modern era, it's always best to have someone watch your back and be there for you. Every woman deserves a good man and every man needs a woman. Two is always better than one, and that date could be the one for you.
