They are dreadful in my opinion ! They produce chemical reaction with fluid and cause yellow and brown stains , simple to brake , hard to cut , flake partials that aren't good for health . I honestly don't know of any pros of these ceiling tiles accept that they are cheap . If you are looking just for very cheap ceiling tiles these are the best !
• Thermoplastic Tiles Thermoplastic tiles are great . If you looking for decorative ceiling tiles thermoplastic is the best option . It gives you the exact same looks and intricate designs as other costly ceiling tiles without the price tag . Excellent for commercial and residential use . Water resistant , Impact and scratch resistant . Simple to install . Yet when purchasing thermoplastic ceiling tiles make sure they are class A fire rates and not flimsy . They may look good online but completely different when you get them .
• Polystyrene ceiling tiles If you own a warehouse , restaurant , office building or anything with significant square footage these tiles are the most effective to suit your needs ! Significantly coast effective , water resistant , washable , highly thermo efficient and they look just so much cleaner compared to other tiles . Be cautious though when buying these tiles ! They have to be class A fire rated , if they are not then they can definitely cause very hazardous effects in case of fire . I have seen two brands of US made polystyrene ceiling tiles available on the market , others which are imported do not comply with regulation , so be aware ! Purchase a sample from various distributors and choose the right one . Or just go to the link on the bottom , these guys sell high-quality product .
• PVC ceiling tiles They are great as long as they are fire rated and rigid . There are plenty of decent brands on the market and I would strongly recommend buying US made products again as they comply with all fire and safety codes , various imported products are known to have issues . Always request samples , ask about fire rating and have one installed in your place so you can adequately evaluate it .
