World class attractions fill the streets of Lancashire; you will need to stay for more than a day to explore the whole county. This region otherwise referred to as 'Lancs' is situated on the west of England, nestled in between the great county of Yorkshire and the smaller county of Cheshire.
With Blackpool being one of the biggest attractions in England, it is the perfect hot spot for tourists looking for a holiday for all the family to enjoy. Although black pool is the most popular seaside resort in Britain a visit to the huge Forest of Bowland is a must. So much choice and fun to be had you will never get the 'I'm bored' from the kids!!

They have very well known symbol for the region and this is the Red Rose of Lancashire, and it comes from the war in the 15th Century 'War of Roses'. Blackpool With Blackpool being extremely popular with holiday makers, this is the perfect place to take the kids or without children in tow, it's a great spot for a few wild nights out. With the Pleasure Beach being exactly that, you are sure to have a great time full of entertainment and fun!
Blackburn Currently going through a multi-million pound makeover, this town will be looking fabulous soon with all its old features still intact. Famous for its football club the Blackburn Rovers, they claim to have one of the best stadiums around so a perfect trip out for a football fan you never know they may even have a match on!
Lytham-St-Annes Although this seaside resort is only a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of Blackpool, it couldn't be any more different! The picturesque coastline with surrounding parks, boating lakes and perfectly tendered lawns offers tranquillity and peace from its sister beach.
Burnley A market town which nestles nicely in between the Calder and Brun rivers; take a walk or a cycle down the 40 mile Burnley way. Down here you can discover the magical woodlands or the intriguing waterways. You don't have to go the whole way... just remember to take your binoculars so you don't miss the variety of wildlife that fill the area.
Morecambe This much loved seaside resort is becoming more and more popular each year. The lavish Midland Hotel and its neighbouring landmarks are just a few reasons why people visit. The promenade is a wonderful place to take a stroll after an evening meal or to grab yourself an ice cream.

This family run farm is home to a huge variety of animals, such as cows, sheep, pigs, rodents, reptiles and much more. Perfect for taking the kids out for the day, they can learn about the animals at the shows and they also offer pony rides, tractor rides and a play area to enjoy. The museum on site is set out in a large farm out building; it will teach you all about the general farm life, past and present.

You can enjoy a 3 mile round trip along the River Ribble on a real steam train, and their museum is full of exhibits well worth a look. They have a work shop so you can actually see all the restorations going on to make sure the trains are in tip top condition. They have a gift shop and a café on site so after your trip have a nice relax with a hot drink and some cake!
