Kids love games but hate math. Unless the kids take interest in learning math, they cannot learn it. But, then we want to them to take interest in learning the math. How do we do it? Kids easily learn math when they learn at their own pace. We cannot force the kids and make them learn math forcibly. For making them to learn math with a genuine interest, we have to probe deeper into their likes and dislikes. What’s so fun about games that’s absent in maths? How do we make math fun and enjoyable rather than it being tough and tedious?

Make sure your children understand mathematical concepts. Without these, math becomes a meaningless mental exercise of just memorizing rules and doing rote drills. Have your children manipulate objects to figure out basic concepts. For addition, they could add one, two, or more blocks to a pile of blocks and then tell you how many blocks are in the pile. Now-a-days kids love games and mostly online games. So why not teach them math in a way they would love to learn. Here is an idea wherein we club together game with math to create math game. And, if we are specifically targeting kids then we make kids math games. These math games for kids are then put on the online medium to create math games online. They have to master the basic facts in order to enjoy Maths. Mastery of a basic fact means that children can give an answer in less than three seconds. Considerable drill is required for children to give quick responses. Use flash cards to help your children learn the basic facts. When they don't know an answer, have them lay out objects to solve the problem. Children will never get a real feeling for math nor learn more advanced concepts without an understanding of its vocabulary. Check that your children can define new terms. If not, have them use models and simple problems to show you they understand how the term is used. Make math cool for them. Give them math worksheets to practice their newly acquired math skills. Tell them how they can improve themselves by giving them a positive and encouraging feedback.

Take away the fear of mathematics from them. This is possible when there’s an online game, some sort of math brain teaser for kids which is fun to play. Such online games help kids by breaking down maths into simple, everyday functions giving it a fun spin; helping kids to learn match fast. These online math games can be in form of apps, widgets or flash-based games which will help your kids to understand the concept of maths in a much better and playful manner.
