Although most people have their minds set firmly on Christmas at the moment, there are a few who are thinking about where to take their family holiday next year. Besides the fabulous beaches that they will absolutely adore, there are many fantastic activities that will keep them entertained for hours at a time. When booking, it would be a good idea to make sure you choose a family friendly hotel that caters for children. That way, there is sure to be a kid's club and children's entertainment in the evening. You may even find that you have to drag your children away just to enjoy a meal with them in the evening.

There are also plenty of activities for adults too. Snorkelling is a favourite with many tourists because they get to see some of the most amazing marine life under the ocean. This is definitely something you should do while in the Maldives. You can also enjoy other water sports as well as activities like horse riding, cycling or some cool excursions.
