A few breakfast suggestions that are very easy to make.
Quiche
Here are the ingredients you need to make your tasty quiche.
Six egg whites Two eggs Chop 1 lb of onions, mushrooms, green peppers or any other vegetable you would wish to include Six slices of cooked bacon as well as chopped Four oz coconut or almond milk Twelve muffin cups with liners How to make your tasty dish ready- The first thing you need to do is beat eggs with the milk, mix the mixture in the meat and veggies. Pour the ready mixture in the muffin cup with liners and then let them bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees in the oven. If you have made some more, then there is no doubt that you can freeze them and enjoy it some other time.
Other ways by which eggs can be cooked:
Fried- crack one egg yolk in a bowl of three whites. Do not mix them. Pour the mixture in the hot non stick pan and cook the way you want.
Omelet- mix one egg yolk in a bowl containing three whites, add two table spoon of water. Add to the mixture chopped turkey, ham or any other meat that you have from the night prior. Also add tomatoes, broccoli, peppers or any other veggies as per your likes. Just pour the mixture in to the hot pan and enjoy it once it is cooked.
Pancakes
I know that I have told you not to eat sugar or any processed food. I have something different for you that are not bad for your fitness goal at all. This recipe is great for the weekend meal and also simple to cook.
How to make it:
One big egg One cup almond or walnut meal ¼ mug almond milk ½ teaspoon baking soda Please note: to have nut meal for your dish, you do not have to buy them processed. Freeze the nuts a night before you want to cook the dish and then grind them in the processor. Make sure you grind them in to flour and not mush. Place the nut flour in the non stick pan pre heated on medium flame. Cook it as the same carbohydrate pancakes we grew up eating. Ensure that you use real maple syrup so you are not consuming processed sugar.
Flank Steak-I usually will purchase 3lb's and then portion it out into 6 oz pieces and freeze them. The night before I'll remove them from the freezer and in the morning they are ready to cook. I will use seasoning and it usually cooks in about 9 minutes.
Bacon-Yes, I said bacon. You need to find bacon that doesn't have any nitrates. I usually will place my bacon on 6 paper towels and cook them in the microwave, to absorb the grease. I typically will eat 5 slices in the morning.
In addition to my protein, I will have fruit (strawberry, apple, blueberry, etc) along with a small handful of almonds, walnuts, or macadamia nuts.
In closing, I'm not a registered dietician or health professional. As always seek a trained health professional prior to implementing any diet plan. The above information is for informational purposes only. Since I've lost nearly 100 pounds, I've kept it off for almost 10 years. I must be doing something right.
Do you have the courage to make a change in your meal planning?
