If you spend more on doctor's appointments than you wanted to, then take that money that you used out of your shopping for the month. Try not to take any money from your savings.

Savings is very important as well in case there is an emergency. It does not matter how much money you make; if you can make a budget, you need to factor in savings. They will add up and you will be better off when and if you need them. Anything that can be cut down such as designer handbags and other forms of unneeded shopping should be cut down until you are in a better financial situation. This does not mean that you should stop buying things all together, just less often. You can also save on things by using coupons when you have to buy them.
