There are lots of regulations when it comes to safety in the working environment, in some sectors this falls short because regulation checks fall lax and become a forgotten in the role of every day working life; but if you stop to think about it, how up to date are your fire safety precautions such as extinguishers and smoke alarms. Making your employees feel comfortable in the working environment is important for any manager, so knowing that there's extra protection in case of a fire can really put their minds at ease, knowing that they are safe in the working environment. If you're worried that the fire doors are going to cause too much impact on the office however, there's no need to worry! With a choice of colours and textures, the doors will fit into the look of the office like they've always been there.

So what should you be doing once the doors have been fitted into the building? Usually if the doors are installed by an external company; training and guidance will be given by the technician, on how to use and handle the doors effectively; this includes things like not propping the doors open, and how to use them in the result of a fire. Without this essential training however, fire doors can become useless, so don't forget to train your team on the importance of using fire doors correctly!
