3 Simple Ways To Have Your "Valued" Clients Take Good Care Of Your Business
I love how our clients are becoming more "savvy" about their businesses and want higher-level strategies and guidance to show them how to create solid success!
It actually helps you as the business owner, to raise the bar on you're your own skills. And that allows you to not only offer more value-based programs but to command higher fees!
How do you take care of those valued clients so that they stay and eagerly refer you business?
Here are three ways to do that, simply…
1.) Invite your "valued" clients to participate in new programs you offer - as "consultants." Here's what I mean. Ask them to participate and provide feedback on the program. Did it deliver as promised? Were there elements that they recommend you remove or include? How would they rate it for content, value and price?
Here's what this does for you. Gives you valuable "unadorned" feedback that helps you to improve your program or turn it into a product with unbiased pricing info. Since your client was a part of the program, there is less incentive in telling you to keep the price low. They also feel like you truly value and appreciate their input.
2.) Provide your "valued" clients with added visibility, by inviting them to write a guest article, blog post or recommend a promotion they have underway.
Here's where that can serve you. It demonstrates to your market that you have rockin' clients who are doing great things - which you helped them achieve! That increases your credibility with prospects that are watching you to see if you can help them. For your clients, they appreciate the added visibility you can bring!
3.) Offer an "unscheduled" brainstorming session! Your "valued" clients often come up with great ideas "on their own" and would LOVE to bounce them around with someone to see where it can go. Why not give them the opportunity to do that with you?
Here's how that helps you. You're more deeply viewed by your clients as a valuable resource in their business and they are more eager to share you with others! You also get the opportunity to see what your clients are "thinking" so that you know where to take your programs, products and services next!
Some of you may think, "I'd lose money if I implement these ideas for ALL of my clients." You'll notice my focus on "valued" clients. I'm giving you a simple way to segment your client list.
You determine "value". Who would you want to offer these opportunities and would share you and your business (read: referrals) because of the value they receive?
This is really simple…when you value your clients they value you.
