Lower High Blood Pressure Today The Drug-Free Way!
Conventional medical/pharmaceutical Doctors make 4 errors when dealing with high blood pressure patients. Having said that, the same applies to other cardiovascular problems or disease related illnesses. The 4 errors Doctors make are:
1. The symptoms are the cause of illness. Not the case! Symptoms are just knock-on effects or consequences of some underlying root cause: It's the body's way of telling you to make some changes or else...
2. A lack of sufficient training in nutrition Doctors pay little heed or no attention to diet and exercise.
3. The idea of the mind-body-spirit connection and its profound impact on health is also generally not given enough attention.
4. Water and the vital part it plays in health and the lowering of high blood pressure is ignored.
Taking the above 4 points, what approaches do conventional medical/pharmaceutical Doctors use when attempting to lower the patient's high blood pressure? How do they compare with alternative, natural health approaches? What are the success rates of either? Indeed, these are very pertinent questions: A report from the Journal of the American Medical Association (Oct. 2002; 288: 1882-1888) concluded that people in middle age or older living in the USA have about a 90% likelihood of developing high blood pressure.
Consider it from the point of view of a high blood pressure patient. The symptoms may be that the patient is obese, run down, feeling worn out or constantly tired, lacking in hydration (dehydrated), or having difficulty breathing... So, as a result the doctor writes out those prescriptions for pills as an attempt to normalize the patient's blood pressure.
As a result, a number of side effects may well occur due to the long-term taking of the pills. How come? Well, to avoid going into a complicated long-winded harangue, the gist of what has happened is this:
You'll recall the 4 above errors that Doctors make: Remember the pills only deal with the symptoms or knock-on effects and not the underlying root-cause which is ignored and thus the problem still persists. The underlying root-cause is the consequences of long-term poor diet, little or no exercise or stress, leading to plaque formation on the inner walls of the patient's arteries. This results in a narrowing of the lumen (space inside) of the arteries.
How does conventional medicine handle this? They get the blood pressure down, not by unclogging the arteries and reducing the plaque formation, but by administering drugs that decrease heart activity.
-What happens when this quick short-term fix is applied?
It's worth knowing the answer since the drugs have now made the heart less active and because the walls of the arteries are narrow and the blood pressure is normalized, like any tube supplying liquid with a smaller lumen (the space inside), the outflow is limited. This means a limited blood flow supplying the heart. Then, in turn, a limited blood flow to supply target organs of the body. To function efficiently target organs with their metabolic processes demand a good blood supply. If this is not fully met, degeneration, illness or even death could result in the long-term...
-Ask the patients, because of the above problem caused by drugs it's not unusual for them to complain of headaches, dizziness, nausea, cardiac arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats), blood pressure too low, impotence, moodiness, depression, memory loss and personality changes...
Angioplasty is used in conventional medicine involving unblocking the arteries to allow blood flow more efficiently once more, but because it still only another short-term fix, treating the symptoms, the problem returns. Plague soon builds up causing a narrowing of the arteries again.
Surgeons and the halo put around them!
You must have heard it said at least once in your life, people saying how great surgeons are with their life-saving operations... Then here's something you should know regarding heart bypass surgery. For heart patients the overall survival rate after an operation is no different than those who never received an operation! (New England Journal of Medicine May 22, 1997 and American of Journal Cardiology June 1998). There are other reports with the same findings. Furthermore, it has been reported that patients have a 13% chance of dying while on the operating table (Dr Tim O'Shea 2007). This comes as no surprise to me when you only give temporary relief by removing the plaque and cleaning the wall of the arteries and not getting to the root-cause. Once again, the plague will later return.
Same goes for coronary bypass surgery, removing the blockage in arteries and allowing the blood to supply efficiently to the heart again is fine for temporary relief, but what about the rest of the body's arteries? What state do you think they're going to be in?
There has to be an alternative.
The whole point of this article is to realize is this: Curing the patient means going to the root-cause of the illness which means lowering high blood pressure the natural way. This takes care of the 4 above errors that Doctors make.
