The most important thing about choosing your makeup colors is knowing whether your skin is cool or warm.
Choose cool colors if:

Choose warm colors if:
• Your skin tone is golden or medium fair and…

• Your eyes are hazel, dark or medium brown
Not everyone fits neatly into one of these categories. If your skin, eyes and hair colors cross the lines between warm and cool, then use cool colors on the cool areas of your body and warm on the others. For example, you may need a cool blush and a warm eye shadow.
The ultimate goal is to paint a picture of beauty using makeup that accentuates your natural look but does not define it.
