A confident driver is a safe driver. Being nervous and anxious is natural when you are learning how to drive for the first time and that is a good thing. Driving is known to fact as a dangerous activity but still we take the risk because it gives us the independence that can not be taken away by others. A nervous driver is an unsafe driver. From the beginning, you must know how to control your emotions. Be assertive, pay attention to your instructor and try to have fun.

Be familiarize and comfortable with your car before you start driving it. All cars are different that is why you should know more about the controls (seat controls, heaters, windows, locks etc) in every vehicle you drive. You must read the owners manual, do not skip it.

Do not bother about what others think. As long as you believe you are driving safely.

Learning how to drive is always scary at first but once you have a grip on it; it is just like riding a bike. Being a confident driver is healthy but do not let that confidence become self-satisfaction.

There is a slight possibility that one of our friends will be a dangerous driver. Lots of teenagers get killed in car crashes when they were just the passenger. You have to be firm and stand up for yourself. If you know someone is driving unsafely, do not put yourself in a position that may cause complication.

Drunk driving is a big NO! Drinking alcohol and driving at the same time is not just unsafe but it is a selfish act. If you kill someone with alcohol in your system, you can go to prison for sure.

It is said that human body was only designed to travel at speeds of around 15/mph. Driving faster than that can compromise our own instincts. You should always look as for down the road as possible and stay alert.
