Hot Tub Party

Having a great party requires a great setting for the party. One of the most fun settings is in a hot tub, especially a luxury hot tub. It is important that your hot tub is large enough to accommodate the entire party. Many of the luxury models have reclining seats. The hot tubs ability to facilitate the party is what makes it fun to be outside, but still in an enclosure. Even in the winter it can be enjoyable to feel the cold air while staying warm in your core. A hot tub can be the setting for parties year round.

Once you have found the perfect hot tub for your party needs you will need to find a spa enclosure. A spa enclosure adds decor, but is also functional in keeping rain and snow out of your hot tub. The perfect spa enclosure for a party would most likely be something with a nice floor, such as unpolished marble. The walls are best made of privacy glass brick. Lights in various colors focused at the glass bricks will really bring the party to life. Including a stereo system with a sub-woofer is a must - you can't rely on the built in system for the ultimate party. You may or may not wish to have a TV in the enclosure. It is a nice touch to include a light control switch that can switch between black light, colorful lights, and regular light. The spa enclosure has one purpose to hold the ultimate party.

To establish the environment there are many options. Lighting as mentioned earlier is one of the major options. It might be fun to also include a disco ball over the top of the hot tub. One could add a fog generating machine. Some people might find it entertaining to have a karaoke machine available while in the hot tub. This of course would require that you had a television screen. If you prefer the sports bar kind of party you will want as big of screen as possible, with a nice stereo system. Depending on your specific needs you may integrate all or part of this into your party room.

You will want to have drinks available to the people attending your party. Adding a mini-keg cooler and dispenser is one option. If you need you could buy an entire keg setup. On the low end you could just purchase an outdoor refrigerator. Plastic cups work better in the hot tub, because bare feet and broken glass do not mix. If you plan to be serving many cocktails you could buy a home bar stand and stock it with various liquors. There are entire books regarding being a home bartender and they may be useful in creating an outdoor bar. The Tiki bar is the classic outdoor bar, and would fit perfectly into this set-up. No matter how you do it you need to provide drinks from a bar just outside the spa enclosure.

For a perfect spa enclosure the spa would be built into the party room open to the bar. You may add a grill to the entire set-up for perfect grilled food to add to the party. Providing food, drink, and music with the added party features mentioned above would make for an excellent party.

So to recap you will need a luxury hot tub with the right number of reclining seats for your guests. You need to plan to have an excellent spa enclosure that will support the party atmosphere. You will need a stereo system with a sub-woofer. The lights set the ambiance and you may wish to have several settings. Adding machines like fog generators, karaoke machines, and disco balls will liven the party. It is important to have some form of bar for pouring beer and mixing drinks. You may expand the party space to include a grill area for providing food to your guests. Planning an outdoor party room is not difficult it just takes forethought.
