HUMANA CHALLENGE LOCATED NOW IN THE PALM DESERT COUNTRY CLUB
The 2014 Humana Challenge sponsored in part by the Clinton Foundation, is sure to be a delight for all who are involved. The January 13-19, 2014 event will feature over 156 professional players in the Pro-Am. The event is set to play for the first 54 holes. Each of the 156 pros will play with different amateur partners each day on various courses for three days in total. On Sunday the low 70 professionals and ties will play the final round of the 72 hole PGA Tour at the Palmer Private at PGA west.
The Palm Desert Country Club is excited to host the event and is one of three courses. The first and the host course is the Palmer Private at PGA west, and Nicklaus Private at PGA west with La Quinta Country Club as the third course. The tickets are coming soon, for this monumental event.
In fact, since the 1960, Desert Classic Charities, a nonprofit organization that works with the Humana Challenge, has donated over $52 million to Eisenhower Medical Center and other local nonprofit organizations. The 2012 Humana Challenge announced record donations of nearly $2.1 million to be donated to local organizations.
Hosting this event again is not only a privilege it’s also a testament to one of the the best local premier Palm Desert Country Clubs in the area. With 2014 looming near, only a few short months away, tickets to the event have already started to sell. Event goers will be treated to luxury and golf as you are meant to see it. The 2014 Humana Challenge will be starting soon, with PGA Tour professionals from around the globe coming to play the wonderful and beautiful greens. La Quinta Country Club offers players the beauty that they have come to expect from an executive level suite and green. Hosting the PGA Tour is a pleasure, and as in the past this tour too is slated to be a successful and wonderful event.
