Online Marketing Fear

"Fear is a monster." Have you ever heard this saying before? I bet you have. Is it really true? Yes, it is as true as can be. In the Bible in 2 Timothy 1:7 it is recorded and this holds true, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." What this means is that we are being equipped with enough faith, courage and strength to face our worst fears knowing that God will see us through them all.

For many of us approaching Internet Marketing is like being lost in the jungle surrounded by wild beasts just ready to pounce on us. We are cognizant of the many spam or fake businesses out there; just ready and waiting to get a hold of our personal information or our credit card information; and then we know what that means for us.

I tried signing up for many Marketing online opportunities which in most cases quotes words such as, TOTALLY FREE, IT COST NOTHING, NO MONEY TO JOIN and the list goes on. I never looked at the ones that mentioned money; I was definitely not planning on paying a dime. I found out that as soon as I completed the personal information section and click submit, the next page says one more step to go; please include your credit card information and then the next line says your credit card will not be charged until a 14/30 days trial period has passed. If you don't like the system you can opt out before the trial period ends. Well I always stop right there and I am pretty sure that as you read this, you are saying, "same me." I never go any further with the sign-up. My rational is that if it is free, there should be no need for my credit card information right.

Guess what I wanted to have my cake and eat it at the same time. How can anyone in their right sense believe they can really make money from any form of business without investing anything in it except their time? A business is a business and not a job, we work with a company and get paid we put up no money; on the other hand we operate a business and get no pay but get return on investment. There are lots of businesses on line that you can do without investing but the returns will be pennies and it would take your entire life to get substantial residual income from it. So too there are other businesses on line that can be operated on a shoestring budget. That means there is a slice of the pie for just about everyone who has what it takes to operate an online business. You don't have to be wealthy to do it but need a little something to get it going until it can take care of itself.

Anyone can do it; It is very easy to do. I know you are fearful; I was as I said before fear captivated me for over 10 years. I rationalized my fear and called it caution. I said I was not willing to allow myself to be led down a path that leads to nowhere nor was I willing to allow them to take my identity or credibility down this dark road. Mark you those words hold true because as mentioned earlier there are scammers out there and we really have to be careful. But we have means of testing the waters without getting our financial information scared. Use a Paypal account instead of your banking information, if you attached a bank account to your paypal for any payment delete the bank info as soon as the payment is processed or open a separate account in a bank with very little amount in it. That keeps the bulk of your monies safe.

Now after so many years, I regretted not having gone into the online business before. I probably would have been as wealthy as Donald Trump or Bill Gates. That is my only regret right now, having not started earlier. You have to give yourself the chance to make an impression in the online marketing system. Get your very own niche and you will be surprise at how well you are doing.
