Computers and the internet has dramatically altered business, politics, aspects of socialization and culture. Many people would not even know life fully without the internet. The impact of the internet to life is far greater than any other communication tool in the antiquity of mass communication. Actually, researchers tend to confuse between Internet and invention, as to which of the two led to the other. The internet sways the world culture due to its versatility and utility in various aspects of the present daily life. The internet allows us to email, carry out research across all aspects of technology, send instant messages, access blogs, libraries, sell and purchase various stocks, interact, book hotels, and buy tickets among others without walking into the respective offices. Computers and Internet reshape the manner with which people interact, with many people connecting to the high-speed internet day by day. Among the societies in the United States, majority prefer instant messaging to connect with customers, sell, buy or rent the virtual homes on-line. Thus, in the United States, choosing the internet for communication purposes was not a challenging option. The previous reports indicate that up to 70% of the citizens of the United States use the internet at least every month, whereas the average on-line users spend 12 hours on-line in every week. The internet makes a universal link and is a profound communication tool of colossal proportions. It has changed the way people earn money, like through Wire Transfer, Money- Bookers, and PayPal, and, how people participate in the various social groups, like through twitter and Facebook. There is no other form of Mass communication, which portrays such features. On the political systems of the United States, just like television, the internet has many impacts. According to reports in the E-Gov, Americans use the information on the internet to make their decisions on voting. Justifiably, this has been the trend each towards upcoming elections, with majority relying on the internet as their primary source of information about the campaigns and the political climate. The advent of computers and internet sways the structure of the campaigns as well. The political parties take advantage of the emails and blogs to raise money through text messaging. The Political aspirants rely on communication, data and information to plan their political platforms to the people of America. The Republicans and Democrats tally the polls of their interactive websites, candidates/party blog, and text messaging to raise campaign funds and tally the polls. Long before, the internet was merely a twinkle, according to Al Gore's eyes, people would communicate via mails in the form of letters, which lasted several weeks to reach the destinations, and, several other weeks to reply. Today, instant mails reach destinations across the universe, courtesy of the internet services. The internet easily connects families and friends around the world. The internet also helps us connect to the medical services, home mortgage amenities, and blogging/researching services, all for the sake of our families. As to how people interact, internet dating has become popular in the current generations. Some of these relationships across the seas and oceans end up in marriages, thus, mixed race families. Many young people rely on the internet for their entire lives. Some people engage in full-time jobs online, like the freelancers. The world has reduced to a global village with news across cities, towns and countries quickly spreading all round the world at an instance. The internet avails everything we want within the click of a button. Therefore, if used purposefully, the internet transforms the world's culture in several aspects, culture being the most affected.
