by Margaret Kilstofte

Welcome to the world of The Trucking Industry, everything you see or buy today is most likely delivered by the trucking industry. Professional truck drivers who makes deliveries can be local, regional or nationwide and come from all walks of life.

As a pro-driverit is imperative that the driver is up to date on all the latest rules and regulations in the industry. There are so many different rules and regulations to keep up with that a CDL driver must constantly be aware of and do everything by the book . It is not getting any easier for the driver out there as they try to earn an income they have to be very protective of their CDL Commercial Drivers License. If any warnings or violations are received it can be detrimental to their driving career.

Pro -Drivers must do everything they can to follow all of the rules and regulations to be allowed to drive and the company must be on top of theses guide-lines as well. It is well known that with all the rules and regulations that a driver sooner or later will have to deal with a Traffic Violation.

A Commercial Driverhas to make sure that the Log Book Is correct and all hours and non hours of operation must be correct and certified. They must at all times make sure that the weight of the truck is certified and correct. Careful attention must be made to the trucks routes, bridge heights and lengths of the loads , also making sure that loads are properly secured and all on board equipment is up to date. Also all permits and registrations must be up to date for any states that they travel through and these are just a few of the many rules a CDL Truck Driver must follow and the company they drive for! Not to mention the Health Issues.

When a Cdl Driver receives a traffic violation it can be a career ending problem so the driver needs to consult with a CDL Attorney before taking any action as it is highly recommended that the driver get an attorney consultation and have a Commercial lawyer attempt to get the CDL Traffic Violation reduced or amended to a lessor violation. Some of the violations can carry BIG Fines and depending on the type of violation received can carry steep penalties for the CDL Driver even when a traffic ticket is received in there personal vehicle it still effects or goes against there CDL License

When A CDL Driver receives 2 Serious violations in a 3 Year period they are automatically suspended for 60 days and most companies will let them go because the insurance companies consider them a high risk so basically one mistake can ruin a Pro-Drivers Career. Its is not going to get any easier as everything revolves around CSA Points and safety issues in the trucking industry and safety concerns on our highways etc. A lot of the drivers are top notch professionals and have many years of accident free driving and clean CDL Driving Records. Cdl Professional Drivers are a real necessary part of the society making sure we have milk in the fridge to the gas in are cars so be aware that they are truly the BACK BONE of The Countryand offer a much needed service.

So lets all give the trucking industry a big thumbs up and thanks for all they have to do out there and the issues they have.
