Just 20 miles north of the Mojave Desert, this pleasant city is named for the juniper trees that were mistaken as cedars by early settlers. The city is in Iron County, Utah, and was settled by early miners who came to take advantage of nearby iron and coal deposits. Cedar City is full of life with a population density of around 1021 people per square mile and hosts a slew of fun annual events.

Not only is Cedar City a fun place in and of itself, but it is very close to Grand Canyon National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, and Cedar Breaks National Monument. It's not too far away from Las Vegas and Salt Lake City and even has its own small airport. The area around the city is also well known for the presence of prehistoric rock art and the sites of ancient settlements, yet there is also ample farm and land for sale, ensuring an ideal place to live, work, and play.
