THE DAY

by Chad Strohm

Am I or am I not... The day the sun rises is the day that will be great, but the great day don't happen until the "am I" quits and disinergrates. The day I am talking about seems so unreachable sometimes, but then again so close I feel like I won't get there in time. Sometimes I feel like The day is upon me and others I feel like it is an infinite distance and time away.

I feel like the day is a backup plan that was set forth to me just to wonder or think about all the time. The day seems like it goes to others in a moment of time. Do I want what others have or do I just think I do. Have wanted what others have or is this just an evil plan of what people call a higher power to make me think things are getting better an the day closer. To me The day is like having a million dollars sitting just out of reach , a drip of water over and over in the same place on my forehead or maybe just a sick joke this so called higher power is playing on me. Sometimes I think I am like a test rat in a lab on a larger scale. Maybe this higher power test emotion to the fullest extint that it can be pushed just to test and see how far this emotion system can go until it crashes so it don't have to be pushed as far in a real life siutation.

Have you ever been close to the day yet so far away. Have you ever known that this day is so perfect but you can be in the right place to be in the same day as everyone else? Does it seem like The Day keep pushing away to be somewhere else with someone else so they may be able to enjoy just 1 day. That is how I feel. I feel like for every good thing that happens there are 9 terrible things to back it up.

Just remember when you finally see the day, are in the day don't let the day pass because when it passes you may never find the day again. DO NOT let that day go, DO NOT let it pass and if it passes DO EVERYTHING you can to find that day again. Because once this day is being enjoyed by someone else it will tear you apart that the day is out of reach yet again by you and you let it pass probadly never to return again.
