I'll Still Wear White After Labor Day

Most people believe that white should not be worn after Labor Day. However, more often than not, this is not the case. Fashion trends and fabs come and go and will continue to do so as long as people wear clothes. Therefore, what was fashionable correct yesterday does not often hold true for today. So I say, "I'll still wear white after Labor Day." Over the years, I have found a variety of ways to wear my whites after attending a Labor Day party. Just because it is Labor Day does not mean that whites have to be put away until next summer. summer clothes are just that, summer clothes, but putting white clothes away just because the season has changed is nonsense. For that matter, over the years, I have found that the only thing that changes after Labor Day is the date and therefore, I'll continue to wear my whites for many months after Labor Day.

There are a variety of different types of whites and some of these whites are appropriate and perfect for any season, event or occasion. For instance, white jeans are very appropriate and fashionable for all seasons. These white jeans are not only very fashionable; they are also considered very classy and can be dressed up or dressed down depending on the event or occasion being attended. Many people find that white jeans can be worn with a winter sweater and boots for a great winter look or toned down with a summer halter top and sandals for a summer look.

A great look for just about any occasion is a pair of white jeans with a quality, stylish top. In addition to wearing white jeans, many people prefer wearing a variety of wool slacks in winter white colors. These slacks or pants are very fashionable and can be dressed up or dressed down depending on the occasion or event. For instance, wool based winter white slacks can be accessorized with a deep rich red poinsettia top or basic red sweater for a Christmas or holiday party. These slacks or pants can also be worn with a dressy black sweater for a New Year's Eve party or special event. Regardless of the occasion, wool winter white slacks can and should be worn after Labor Day. White turtlenecks with white slacks and jeans is a nice combination and acceptable after Labor day.

A white sweater, regardless of the type can be accessorized with a variety of slacks and skirts. Additionally, most people find that winter white can be accessorized with a variety of tops, blazers and blouses to make a fashion statement. Therefore, most people will find that wearing white after Labor Day can be very fashionable.
