Its aggregateis barites or magnetite or manufactured aggregate like iron or lead shot. Because of high density there will be a damage of floor. To avoid this concrete is adopted. Its properties are high Modulus of Elasticity, Low thermal Expansion, Low elasticity and creep deformation are ideal properties.
Mass Concrete:
Mass concrete is described as a concrete which is prepared by specific measure of quantity with generation of heat from hydration of the cement and attendant volume change to minimize cracking. Mass concrete is differing from one property from other types of concrete that is thermal behavior.
Ready-Mix Concrete:
Ready-mix concrete is a mixture of cement, aggregates, water and other ingredients, which are weigh-batched at a centrally located plant.
Polymer Concrete:
The porosity is due to air voids, water voids or due to inherent property of gel structures. The porosity is reducing the strength of the concrete, if porosity is reduced then strength of the concrete will increase. There are 4 types of polymer concretes 1. Polymer impregnated concrete 2. Polymer cement concrete 3. Polymer concrete 4. Partially impregnated and surface coated polymer concrete.
This polymer concrete is mainly useful in custom concrete flooring services.
Removal and Replacement of Surface:
