How to Get Massive--Three Tips That You Should Try
Like most young men, when I first get bit by the iron bug--I wanted to be just like the bodybuilders I saw in the pages of the muscle magazines.
In short I wanted to be massive--but there was one catch--I wanted it yesterday.
And I suspect that most young men and women feel the exact same way. Of course, with my youthful enthusiasm I made every mistake in the book. With that said, below I am going to lay out three tips--tips that I wish I had when I started. With that said, here we go!
YOU MUST GET (SOMEWHAT) SMOOTH
If I could pick one thing that derails a lot of young bodybuilders from making the gains they want--this would be near the top. Most beginners train with flat out intensity--unfortunately nutrition is not at the top of the list. What I mean by this is, they start off with good intentions on the nutrition end, but the minute they start to gain a little body fat, they get scared and back off the eating. The fat comes off--but the gains slow too. Yes, you do not want to gain too much body fat in the process of gaining muscle--but it is also a mistake to try and stay super lean. For my money, if you can no longer see your abs--you have gone too far--and need to either start doing some aerobics or drop the carbs a bit.
Which leads me to…
GOING CRAZY ON THE BULK
The truth of it is when most people talk of bulking up, they are just doing it so they can justify eating junk food. Sure an occasional junk food meal is a good treat, but always remember this--the better you eat, the harder you will be able to train. Which means you will make gains faster. Think of it this way, when you are really hitting it hard in the gym, why would you waste all of that effort by eating tons of junk food.
Lastly…
REST…REST…REST This is another big one with me, just like with your nutrition, the better you eat, the harder you can train, and hence the better you will look.
Same is true for sleep--or more to the point--how rested you are. The earlier you go to bed--the more rest you will get--and the harder you will be able to train. Ever try and bust out a hard and heavy workout when you are really dragging? Does not go so good--right. So just like your nutrition, when you are really hitting it hard--jump into bed and hour or two earlier every night. Trust me on this--your body will thank you.
CONCLUSION
I know the above three tips are not earth shattering or new and cutting edge--but sometimes we forget the basics. So if you are looking to gain some serious muscle, give tips in this article a try. If you do, chances are, you will like the results. DO IT!
