A Short Note on the CMAT Preparation

However, in the present scenario, CMAT is a management entrance test to get admitted in the PGDM, PGCM, or Executive MBA courses in the colleges affiliated to AICTE. Since there a great number of colleges under AICTE, the competition to get a great score in CMAT is rising. Students aspiring to write CAT, should write as much MBA exams as they can since it will increase the chance of getting into a better B school. The frame of the question paper is somewhat similar to CAT. CMAT occurs twice a year- in the months of February and September. What a person needs to achieve a great result in CMAT is consistent practice along with regular and disciplined study time. Long hours of study do not fetch a person great grade rather quality study time does. And it may be 3 hours per day for a person or eight hours a day for another. Since the question pattern involves short technical questions, regular study along with regular practice is necessary. It is impossible to attain a great score without a proper amalgamation of these two. Apart from this process, a student must write as much mock tests as possible to surmount different possible problems that a student may face in the examination hall. Here lies the positive implication of mock test writing. Both of the sections of CMAT MBA 2013 are finished. Candidates are busy gearing up for the upcoming CMAT in 2014. A student must start the preparation with studying the previous year CMAT papers to get a comprehensive idea on the CMAT syllabus and question pattern. There must be a proper distribution of time among the all subjects since each of them carries the same marks. Among these four subjects, maths and reasoning needs everyday practice. Otherwise, it will be difficult to get in to the complex issues. As the first and foremost part of the preparation, a student must make all the fundamental problems clear in order to make the basics strong. Otherwise, while attending to the further serious issues, chances of getting faltered increases to a great extent. If all these aspects of preparation are properly taken care of, most likely a student can achieve the coveted CMAT score.
