Tanzania - The Land Of High Peaks, Wildlife And Beaches

Tanzania is the largest East African country that shares its boundaries with Kenya and Uganda. It is known as a land of fossils remains of the human beings that was buried approximately two million years ago.

Geographically it covers a total area of 945,087 km square. The highest peak is known as Kilimanjaro and the lowest point is Lake Tanganyika. Victoria is one of the Africans largest lakes.

What all to cover during the visit

1. Mount Kilimanjaro:

It is the northernmost part of Tanzania and is located 340 km south to the equator. During winter, the peak of this mountain is covered with thick snow. This thick patch of snow makes it look more attractive and beautiful. Kibo Peak on Kilimanjaro is located at 5895 m above the sea level and is referred to be the highest peak of Africa.

2. Serengeti National Park:

Being the oldest national park of Tanzania, it is also considered as a heritage site. It is inhabited by many species including lion, giraffe, birds, cheetah, and mainly zebra. Vegetation of the park attracts herbivores animals

3. Zanzibar:

It is an island of beautiful beaches and is one of the favorite destination spot. This place has been the natural trading center, since ancient time due to its exuberance in Indian Ocean. It offers a great deal to tourist looking for snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, and scuba diving.

4. Ngorongoro Conservation Area:

Most famously referred to as the jewel in the crown, it is an outcome of the same volcanic eruption which has given birth to the Rift Valley and Kilimanjaro. It shelters plenty of wildlife in its crater, mainly the elephants.

5. Mafia Island:

Better known as Tanzanian gem, it is full of beautiful beaches and wonderful parks, enduring a classic piece of wildlife. It has a strong ancient culture, which depicts a clear view of the unchanged dimensions of the island. It is among the most untouched islands of Tanzania, where you can find whales, fishes, and sharks.

Tanzania offers travelers an array of alternatives. It pictures great scenery of biodiversity, sky touching peaks, beautiful lakes, and fascinating beaches. It is a dwelling place for endangered species providing them with the basic natural surroundings essential for their survival.
