What is the motive for engaging our services, to help in solving the problem or approve the decisions that the company has already made? (Hawkins & Fleit, n.d,pp.5).

It is normal for each company to aim at maximizing profit while minimizing cost; how do you react when thing turn otherwise? (Hawkins & Fleit, n.d, pp.5).

Is there any person in our team involved in this exercise that you are not comfortable to work with? (Hawkins & Fleit, n.d, pp.5).

Which financial resources are available to help the company address the state of the problem if necessary?

Have the company ever reached to the zone of insolvency?

Which strategies have you used in the past to raise revenues and cost cut in your company? How have you utilized the relationship between the two functions to ensure profit maximization?

What investment have you made in order to add value to the customer for the past few years without affecting the targeted profit?

How many departments do you have? How do they operate? What is the professional experience of each head of department and does it align with what they are current doing to the company?

How many professionals work under these head of departments in the company?

How many consultants have you worked with in the past few year? Had you signed a letter of confidentiality? Did you restrict them from working for your competitors?

Who are some of these consultants? Can I call and ask about your company?

How many consultants do you work with at any given time? Will the company respond the same day incase we require information about your company which will enable us to help you accomplish your goal as a company? Will it be through phone or email?

Do you expect us to teach the company this work and become self sufficient? If yes, for how long will this take?

Does your company have newsletters, journals? What do you focus most in the newsletters? (Camden, 2008)

How do you pay for services? Does your pay include travel time and other miscellaneous pay?

Who will keep any kind of documentation that we will give to the company when the project is completed? (Camden, 2008)

What are the tools that the company has to determine if is in real trouble?

What is your biggest challenge or problem for the past few years as a company?

How dynamic is your company's culture?

How will the company know that I have completed my work?
