Wedding Speeches For The Bride - 3 Ideas To Relieve The Worry

by William Burnell

You have a million things to do to get ready for your wedding and getting a speech together is somewhere on the list. You know you have to do something about it but it will have to wait until to can get time to think. The trouble is, your wedding day will be around the corner and you could find yourself rushing to come up with a something to say. If you allow this to happen you will not be on you best on the day as you will feel ill prepared and you could be disappointed you did not give it more attention. Here are three ideas that could help:

1. Think in headings. As you go about your daily routine, let you thoughts wander to some of the things you want to say in your wedding speech. Do not worry about the details; think about the main points you want to make. Focus on the main points and other thoughts will follow naturally. The main points will trigger other thoughts and provide a structure for the rest of you speech.

2. Carry a notebook and write down the thoughts as they come to you. Write down the ideas for your speech on your to do list. Make a separate page and jot down any thought however random. You can build on this later. The main thing is to get the ideas on paper as they occur to you. We get some of our best ideas that way and we need to capture them while they are fresh.

3. As you get closer to your wedding day, start to put your thoughts in order. You can do this as you go about your daily activities also. Over time you will see your speech taking shape and coming together. By that time you will know what you want to say and how you want to say it. You will be less likely to falter or to forget your speech if you have captured your ideas and allowed them to take shape. You will have those thoughts in you mind and will be able to recall them more easily.

Preparing wedding speeches for the bride does not have to be a painful experience if it is done over time, allowing ideas to take shape gradually. The important thing is to avoid getting caught at the last minute - feeling stressed and with a sense of panic. It would be a pity to allow this to happen as you could miss the opportunity to make the day as memorable as you would like it to be.
