She got a little sexy on us with her hit single “Motivation” on her third album in 2011, “Here I Am.” At that point, I was really convinced that Kelly Rowland spread her wings from being second best, to showing me that she can survive as a solo artist! In 2013, she rumbled the sound waves with her fourth solo album “Talk A Good Game.” You know you’re saying something when you can have people talk about a track that speaks the truth without specifying and have the audience loving it, talking about it, and buzzing “their interpretations” about it. “Dirty Laundry” was one of those controversial songs that I think was a BRILLIANT idea, which said, “I’ll let you in my life under my terms of letting you know what was going on! Assume what you want, but no specifications needed!” Of course, she reminded us of where she got her start from by making a track featuring her fellow group members, Beyonce and Michelle Williams in “You Changed.” So tell me, why does this woman need to be second best? Kelly Rowland can give you sexy. She can be sensual, glide around in front of the camera, and strut her stuff. She can be as feminine as she wants to be; foxy as she is entitled to be. She can be down right dirty and gritty with her music; raw and real, baring the naked truth. She can shatter the boundaries and fragile walls of her truth and show her soul.
